84 - Toward Freedom – Building Bridges

This is the last of the blog articles #81 - 84 that focused on the theme of spiritual freedom based on excerpts from Torkom’s book, The Science of Becoming Oneself. As Torkom wrote, … “the keynote of this book is freedom, the revelation and release of the unknown mystery in man, the freedom of lightning!...[T]hose who crave freedom and cannot find it in the “freedoms” they have, are invited to read this book and live it.” We hope you have enjoyed these articles and that they have inspired you to strive toward experiencing the true freedom within yourself.

The third step is the science of bridge building. This bridge building becomes a conscious process when the man lives on the mental plane. It has three progressive stages:
    1.    Concentration, Meditation, and Contemplation
    2.    The Science of Impression
    3.    The Technique of Indifference

The first stage is very important and forms the foundation for the entire work of bridge building. We can build nothing in our inner or outer world without scientific concentration, meditation, and contemplation. The science of becoming oneself is a great science and the greatest goal of humanity. When a man starts the bridge building process, it is evident that he sees a high peak which challenges all that he has and is. He realizes that he cannot jump there in one step, but that he must build numerous bridges and paths, even space ships, to reach the peak which may turn out to be a star.

Through scientific concentration, meditation, and contemplation the man builds many bridges and different lines of communication between the inner world and the mental plane. He ceases to be the slave of his threefold personality (his physical, emotional, and mental natures) and frees himself to live in the unlimited world of spiritual development.

83 – Toward Freedom – The Detached Observer

This is the third in the series of articles  in July 2011 (Numbers 81-84), that will focus on the theme of spiritual freedom based on excerpts from his book, The Science of Becoming Oneself. As Torkom wrote, … “the keynote of this book is freedom, the revelation and release of the unknown mystery in man, the freedom of lightning!...[T]hose who crave freedom and cannot find it in the “freedoms” they have, are invited to read this book and live it.” We hope you enjoy these articles and that they may inspire you to strive toward experiencing the true freedom within yourself.

The second step is the step of facing up to the facts about himself. He holds all expressions under survey and tries to find the why of all his reactions and responses on the three levels of his being. He analyzes his thoughts, his emotions, his actions, and he tries to find the urges and motives behind them. He does not do these things as some introspectives do, identifying themselves with their inner and outer states  —  as he analyzes, he views himself impersonally, and thus cultivates within himself the attitude of a detached observer. When he succeeds in observing himself impersonally, he tries to view others and all events with the same impersonality.

Through this process he discovers the pseudo-rulers in his subjective and objective worlds and gradually decreases their number, until eventually the observer himself becomes the sole ruler of his being. This means simply that the man is no longer the victim of his physical urges, of his emotional waves, or of his different thoughts and momentary tendencies. He tries to face himself at every turn and attempts to unmask every activity and every state of being which pretends to speak or act in the name of the True Self. Here the man becomes a duality. There is the objective world and the one who rules it, but the latter is not yet a clear-cut figure.

Ages pass, and the observer gradually distinguishes between himself and the physical body. Now he thinks and assumes that he is the emotional man. In the next step he leaves behind the physical body and emotional states as not-selves and identifies himself with the mental world. Here he lives for quite a long time, identifying himself with many different states of being, until one day he surpasses his mental world too and becomes a deeper being, a deeper observer on a higher plane. This is called “the path of detachment” and “the path of facing oneself” upon every turn of life….

82 - Toward Freedom – Learning to Do Good

This is the second in the series of articles  in July 2011 (Numbers 81-84), that will focus on the theme of spiritual freedom based on excerpts from his book, The Science of Becoming Oneself.

[In our last article, Torkom indicated there are three steps that we must take to achieve at-one-ment with the Self. This is the first of three articles that will explore those steps in detail.]

The first step is the step of doing good, through which the inner influences increase and new integration and fusion occur among the vehicles. The man tries to be an agent of goodwill, and in all his acts, feelings, and thoughts he tries to express Goodness, Beauty, and Righteousness as far as he is able to do so. This is creative living  —  the way of service.

[How do we do this?] The first step is to start with our physical environment. We sit alone, quietly, and think, “Do I know of a man, woman, or child who is in need?” Perhaps after a few minutes we will remember that one of our friends or neighbors needs a pair of shoes, a book, a suit, a car, or a radio. We say to ourself, “Does this person really need it? Yes. Do I have enough money to buy what is needed? Yes, I do! I will buy it and give it to the one in need.” The second step is to buy the item decided upon. The third is to give it to the person in the nicest and most considerate way. When we perform an act such as this, we feel that new energy starts to flow and circulate in our mechanism; we experience deep joy, new strength, and new peace….

81 - Toward Freedom – Returning to Our Real Self

During the month of July 2011, Torkom’s blog articles #81 - 84 will focus on the theme of spiritual freedom based on excerpts from his book, The Science of Becoming Oneself.

The process of evolution is beautifully explained in the story of the Prodigal Son who received his share of inheritance from his Father, then journeyed to far-off lands where he squandered his wealth in riotous living. While tending swine and suffering great deprivation, gradually the memory of his Father’s home dawned in his consciousness, and he pronounced the most poignant statement ever recorded:

I will arise and go to my Father.

As he approached, the Father rushed forth part way to embrace him. The progress of humanity or of an individual begins when man starts to raise himself and walk toward his Real Self. Our Father is our Self. The long road that separates us from our Father seems to us so far, as far as the farthest star, but actually it is closer than our eyes.

The reason for this illusion is that throughout the ages we  —  the Real Father in us  —  have identified ourselves with the form side of life, and we have lost ourselves in the running water of transient forms. This can be explained if we take the process of sleep as an example. Note how your active consciousness gradually becomes more distant, sinking deeper and deeper into apparent nothingness. In that stage of sleep it seems as though we do not even exist. So it is with the Spark, the Father, Who gradually loses Himself as he identifies with coarser and denser matter  —  until one day He stands on the pole directly opposite His Real Being.

80 – The Great Invocation: Psychological Tools

This is the last of the blogs on the Great Invocation, excerpted from Torkom's book The Triangles of Fire. We hope you enjoyed these articles and hope they have inspired you to form Triangles and to use this Invocation in your daily prayers and meditations. We can say this mantram to inspire us individually and heal us with Divine Energy; or we can say this mantram in concert with others to inspire and heal a greater part of humanity.

Triangle work becomes more potent and its effect more far-reaching, when we consider for a moment the psychological tools with which every triangle participant can work on his own level of achievement.

1. Memorize the Great Invocation and at certain times of the day, ponder the meaning of certain phrases and words. Deepen your penetration into the meaning and significance of the words.

2. When it is time to contact the other two triangle participants, sit quietly and lift your consciousness as high as possible, detaching yourself from all physical, emotional and mental concerns.

79 – The Great Invocation: Helpful Hints

During the month of June 2011, Torkom’s blog articles #76 - 80 will focus on the theme of the Great Invocation and the significance of saying this mantram by the formation of triangles. The Great Invocation is a world prayer of great potency and healing. It is a mantram that helps us focus on the Divine energies of Truth, Love, and Purpose. When we say the Invocation, it allows these energies to flow into our everyday lives and thereby uplift us to our true Divine nature. We can say this mantram to inspire us individually and heal us with Divine Energy; or we can say this mantram in concert with others to inspire and heal a greater part of humanity.

You must remember that all of this must be performed in a totally relaxed and joyful way. No stress or strain must be attached to this sacred work. Any time you feel that you are tense, nervous or exhausted, rest, find yourself and relax before saying the Great Invocation, even if you are an hour late.

You can sit cross-legged if you wish; you can sit on a chair, or if outside, on a rock. Wherever you sit, try to hold your spine erect and relaxed. Do not mix any other meditation practices with this task. Give special attention to it, and really make it special. You can even light a candle, burn a stick of sandalwood incense, and dress in a special, beautiful, clean robe for saying the Great Invocation.

78 – The Great Invocation: Forming the Triangle of Light

Sometimes if one person forgets to say the Great Invocation, he will telepathically awaken and remember when the others start. It is enough if one of the participants is awake; eventually he will be able to call the others to their sacred duty.

After the first triangle is firmly established, you can start other triangles to be repeated at different times, proceeding in the same way. If any participant cannot continue in his task for any reason, then he must be kind enough to inform the other two so that they can choose another person for their triangle.

77 – The Great Invocation: The Power of Triangles

In the past forty years, the teaching of triangles has penetrated into almost all countries of the world and has generated millions of triangles.

A triangle is composed of three people who say the Great Invocation daily to invoke light, love and power, in order to create peace, understanding, cooperation, abundance and freedom.

There are triangles that invoke light; there are triangles that spread goodwill; and there are triangles that are in preparation to serve as circulatory agents for will energy.

How to Form a Triangle of Light.

76 – The Great Invocation: Understanding The Energy Fields

Just as every living form has an energy field around itself, our planet also has its electromagnetic sphere of  energy. This energy penetrates all parts of the planet, penetrates all forms, and at the same time extends out into Space as a field of energy within which our planet lives, moves and has its being.

Not only this planet, but also the entire solar system has its energy field. It is this energy field which ties all forms together into one life….

75 - Spiritual Awareness at Wesak – A New Window

When your awareness expands more and more, you see the Divine Will behind the causes. You can see also the direct or distorted effects of these causes. When you become aware of energies, aware of immortality, aware of the continuity of life, aware of joy, peace, love and beauty, you see that they were there all the time, but that now you have awakened and become aware of their existence, aware of the fact that they belong to your own greater nature, that they are parts of your nature. Thus, awareness leads to realization. Consciousness puts into expression this awareness upon the three worlds of human endeavor, through creative living, and as the consciousness expands, it does a better job in translating the content, the beauty and the richness of awareness.

74 - Spiritual Awareness at Wesak - Awaken to the Real

What is happening today is not a means to expand only our consciousness, but also to expand our awareness. We hear much about expanding our consciousness, but very little about expanding our awareness. Awareness is a matter of direct experience, of knowing through identification, of opening to the sunshine and becoming one with it. It is an awakening to the Real Life, to the function of that Great Life. It is experiencing both the form side of life and the formless side; experiencing the manifested side of life and the un-manifested side; the blueprint of this manifestation and the energy of this manifestation. Actually we are building a bridge between the objective and subjective worlds, between the world of cause and the world of effect.

73 - Spiritual Awareness at Wesak – Where is Your Focus?

The registration, the assimilation and the radiation of these energies depend upon the condition of the centers in our etheric body. When a man is focused within the lower centers, below the diaphragm, these centers will be stimulated more, and become more active. If the higher centers are active they will receive more energy and will be more active. When the higher centers are more active, you are expanding yourself into greater relationships, into better communication, and because of this communication you have more power, more energy more enlightenment and more love.

72 - Spiritual Awareness at Wesak – Observation

It is a great joy to us and to the Watching One, that people all over the world, individually or in group formation, are observing the Wesak Festival and building a channel to receive and pass to humanity the energy of spiritual will, love and enlightenment.

....This is the field which will be charged more and more by the presence of Christ, and through the blessings of the Great Lord Buddha; it will provide a chalice for cosmic energy, and a channel through which these energies can pass to the kingdoms of nature.

71 – Resurrection — Endless Path

Torkom wrote four volumes of books on the esoteric meaning of the Teachings of Christ, covering the subjects of birth, life, transformative power, and resurrection of Christ.

I know many, many people who entered into the path, and they were so happy that they were becoming initiates and masters. Even many disciples, after ten, fifteen years, they came to me and said, “Torkom we became masters. We are great initiates. We are doing great works, teaching and writing, counseling, and we became great ones.” I asked, “Where is your focus of consciousness? One day, observe it and find out where is your consciousness.” Is your consciousness activated by fear, hatred, irritation, gossip, criticism, belittling other people, slander, and malice? If the answer is yes, you have them, you are not an initiate; you are a gopher. You are really creating great destruction and you are preparing your own destruction.

70 – Resurrection — Meditation

Torkom wrote four volumes of books on the esoteric meaning of the Teachings of Christ, covering the subjects of birth, life, transformative power, and resurrection of Christ.

....And the first step for resurrection is meditation.

Meditation is mastery over your thought world. Through meditation you conquer. Through meditation you purify yourself. Through meditation you build a path between you and higher sources. Through meditation you purify your atmosphere, the field of your service, your room, your business. Even your offices you can purify with your thoughts because meditation eventually takes you from these six steps and puts you into the seventh step, which is pure, creative meditation. It is in that stage, only, that the human soul becomes himself. So resurrection is to become your True Self. Ask yourself and test yourself. Are you acting as yourself, your True Self, or are you acting as your body?

69 – Resurrection — Seven Traps

Torkom wrote four volumes of books on the esoteric meaning of the Teachings of Christ, covering the subjects of birth, life, transformative power, and resurrection of Christ.

There are seven traps that we must conquer in the mental plane. People are resurrected by conquering these seven steps. Here is a summary of these seven traps:

The first step is called the thoughtless state of consciousness. In this state of thoughtlessness, man obeys the thoughts of others and he is like a machine. The interests of other people, their habits, jealousies, and greed control people and they obey these people like sheep….

… the second step… is called the earthly thoughts stage. In this stage man thinks only about earthly interests….

68 – Resurrection — Victory Over Your Mind

Torkom wrote four volumes of books on the esoteric meaning of the Teachings of Christ, covering the subjects of birth, life, transformative power, and resurrection of Christ.

So resurrection is victory over the mind, over your thought mechanism, victory over your think, so that daily not a single thought pollutes your aura or channels an evil force to the world. It is easy to hold your mouth, it is easy to hold your hand, it is easy to control your body, but can you control your thinking? Can you keep that thinking pure, really pure? Resurrection means to achieve the primordial, the essential state of your consciousness, of your beingness. When we become pure selves, we achieve resurrection….

67 - Resurrection – Beneficent Thoughts

Torkom wrote four volumes of books on the esoteric meaning of the Teachings of Christ, covering the subjects of birth, life, transformative power, and resurrection of Christ.

The fifth level is thoughts enflamed by aspirations, by worship, by adoration, by beauty. Here, man starts to breathe and find himself, feel himself. For the first time in his life, he feels that he is a human being because his thoughts have wings. They start flying. He has great aspirations, great adoration, great worship, ecstasy, bliss….
The sixth one is beneficent thoughts, thoughts that are only based on one thing: how can I help others? How can I make my life a service for humanity? Here your thoughts are totally fused with the … the service of the one humanity. How can I make my physical, emotional, and mental vehicles a service for humanity so that I uplift humanity?...

66 - Resurrection – Clean Up Your Thoughts

During the Month of April 2011, Torkom's blog articles (#62-71) will focus on the theme of Resurrection and Easter. We hope these articles inspire you to learn the deeper meanings of Easter and the process of Resurrection.

Then we come to the third step. The third stage of consciousness is called the stage of disintegrating thoughts. These thoughts are based on lies, on hypocrisy. They are not true….Human beings think that … space is polluted by fuel emissions, by smog, by radioactivity. Of course it is polluted, but the greatest pollution that we have now at the present is the disintegrating thoughtforms in … space.
…Nothing can live in the world if it has no life principle, if it has no truth within itself. If you are lying, if you are basing your thoughts in hypocrisy, they are disintegrating in … space….

65 - Resurrection – Mental Traps

During the Month of April 2011, Torkom's blog articles (#62-71) will focus on the theme of Resurrection and Easter. We hope these articles inspire you to learn the deeper meanings of Easter and the process of Resurrection.

…The greatest trap is the mental body. It is sometimes easy to release yourself from the physical plane and conquer it. It is sometimes easy to conquer the emotional body, but the mental body is so sneaky. The thoughts are so subtle. You think you are catching them and then they slip away….
There are seven traps that we must conquer in the mental plane. People are resurrected by conquering these seven steps.
The first step is called the thoughtless state of consciousness. In this state of thoughtlessness, man obeys the thoughts of others and he is like a machine….Their mind is not in action yet, and the human soul, which is the one that is going to be resurrected, is chained in the mental plane.
If man conquers thoughtlessness and starts to think, to use his mind, he enters the second step, which is called the earthly thoughts stage. In this stage man thinks only about earthly interests. His body is very important. His urges and drives are very important,…. It is very difficult for these people to achieve resurrection.

64 – Resurrection: Meeting our True Self

Torkom wrote four volumes of books on the esoteric meaning of the Teachings of Christ, covering the subjects of birth, life, transformative power, and resurrection of Christ.

During the Month of April 2011, Torkom's blog articles (#62-71) will focus on the theme of Resurrection and Easter. We hope these articles inspire you to learn the deeper meanings of Easter and the process of Resurrection.

From The Teachings of Christ, Vol 4, by Torkom Saraydarian, p. 14.

Resurrection is when the spirit in the man starts to conquer his physical body, then the emotional body, then the mental body, and on and on and on. Eventually, with a very lucky break he meets himself.

….The resurrection ceremony or the resurrection initiation is nothing else but the process of meeting the Father. When we meet the Father we become ourselves, and when we meet ourselves we see the Father. Christ taught that concept when He said many, many times, “I and My Father are One.” He was referring to this divine principle, to this divine doctrine that if one meets that Divine Spark and becomes that Divine Spark, he is already in the Father and the Father is revealed to him. That was the ceremony for initiation.

63 - Ressurrection: The Easter Egg

Torkom wrote four volumes of books on the esoteric meaning of the Teachings of Christ, covering the subjects of birth, life, transformative power, and resurrection of Christ.

During the Month of April 2011, Torkom's blog articles (#62-71) will focus on the theme of Resurrection and Easter. We hope these articles inspire you to learn the deeper meanings of Easter and the process of Resurrection.

From The Teachings of Christ, Vol 4, by Torkom Saraydarian, pp.12-13.

There are many beautiful symbols in Easter that are very, very meaningful, especially the Easter egg. It is a very occult symbol. At Easter you collect eggs. The egg symbolizes the human being.

The human being is an egg. But that egg has a shell and a vital part inside. This vital part is protected. That is the beauty. That vital part is protected by the shell, but later, when that vital part starts to grow and unfold itself, the shell becomes a hindrance. The shell that was protecting the little life is now becoming a hindrance and that hindrance must be broken so that the life in the egg bursts out a little chicken….

62 - Resurrection: The Great Call

Torkom wrote four volumes of books on the esoteric meaning of the Teachings of Christ, covering the subjects of birth, life, transformative power, and resurrection of Christ.

During the Month of April 2011, Torkom's blog articles (#62-71) will focus on the theme of Resurrection and Easter. We hope these articles inspire you to learn the deeper meanings of Easter and the process of Resurrection.

From Teachings of Christ, Vol 4, by Torkom Saraydarian, pp. 11-12.

...Resurrection is the answer to a great call. And what is that great call? The Great Soul of this planet, Who was called the Father by Jesus and by many, many Masters, is calling back His sons. He is calling us back like a man standing on the mountain top and calling his lost son to come back. His Voice is tracing the path. Now this is the path which leads to resurrection. Hearing, listening to the Voice, being able to listen to that Voice and answering that Voice is the technique, is the process of resurrection. As you listen, as you hear that Voice, step by step you orient yourself. You find the right path to climb this mountain, this gap, these precipices. You discover how to penetrate these forests. You learn where to go so that you reach the summit and find your Father.

61 – Shocks of Silence

From New Dimensions in Healing by Torkom Saraydarian, p. 475.

From childhood people must be trained in the discipline of silence. They must learn the science of speech and silence. Greater mastery is achieved in life when we do not waste our breath and voice but use them only to enlighten, guide, protect, uplift and communicate with people….

One of the greatest healing factors is a silence experienced in the presence of a Cosmic beauty. Admiration is a moment of silence. Ecstasy is a period of silence. Exaltation is a duration of silence. It is in such a silence that psychic energy finds a way to flow into your whole system and revitalize and purify it.

We call these moments the shocks of silence, the shocks of beauty, glory, and grandeur. The real essence of beauty is silence. The True Self is silence. Only vehicles talk. The Self is silence.

60 – Effects of Foul Speech

From New Dimensions in Healing by Torkom Saraydarian, p. 473.

Many, many times we feel that we are…entering a wrong path of conversation, but for some reason we continue. Later we feel badly, but it is already done. It is difficult to observe our emotions and thoughts and watch their automatic flow. When we are closely identified with our emotions or thoughts, it is more difficult for us to observe them….

Most of our respiratory diseases and diseases connected with related centers and glands are the result of foul speech.

Heart diseases are closely related to our speech and expressions which create conflict and turbulence in our conscience and consciousness. The heart functions on the foundation of harmony. Any expression that upsets the harmony of the heart leads the person into trouble. Hypocrisy, lies, flattery, and foul speech are called the poisons of the heart.

59 – Why Enter into Silence?

From New Dimensions in Healing by Torkom Saraydarian, p. 472.

Most of our speech originates from our physical, emotional, and mental elementals, from our urges and drives, from our glamors, and illusions. This is what is commonly called speech.

Silence originates from the Self.

It is possible for man to detach himself from the utterances of his lower self and enter into silence. It is in such a silence that man can stop and check if any statement is issued from his lower self which will produce future obstacles in the creative expression of the Self. In such moments the Self can check if the utterances are true and correct and full of beauty and love.

58 – The Voice of Silence

From New Dimensions in Healing by Torkom Saraydarian, p. 472.

Every one of us can build his own symphony or his own prison - dark and cold. All construction is carried out by our tongues, by our speech, and by our silence. The greatest panacea for our ills does not come from pharmacies and hospitals but from our words charged with our sacrificial, heroic, and enlightened thoughts, motives, and emotions.

Man is born from his own mouth.

Throughout centuries Sages emphasized silence. Silence does not mean to zip the mouth and not communicate. Silence was recommended to warn people about the speech and to decrease the pollution from their speech.

57 - Healing Through the Light of Joy

From Joy and Healing by Torkom Saraydarian, p. 46.

Joy is a beam of light which can be used for any healing work in our systems. In the future, some advanced souls will be born and use the beam of joy for distant healing. They will be able to heal distorted and disturbed minds, emotions, and diseases. They will be able to tune up the human system according to the laws and principles of life.

It will be possible by projecting the beam of joy to disperse hatred, animosity, fear, anger, jealousy, revenge… to disperse crowds swayed by such dark tidal waves, and inspire heroic actions, cooperation, sacrificial deeds, and profound artistic and constructive labor. In the future, the science of joy will be the most advanced course in esoteric and scientific universities.

56 – Unhappiness is a Contagious Disease

From Joy and Healing by Torkom Saraydarian, pp. 40-41.

Unhappiness is a very contagious disease. Those who fall into unhappiness are those who break the laws of love, unity, and service. We must try to heal through the medicine of joy. It will take time, but we will eventually do it.

Remember that hilarity has nothing to do with joy. Hilarity is a disease. “The pursuit of happiness” must be understood correctly. The pursuit of happiness is not a process of being happy at the expense of others. The pursuit of happiness is an intelligent way of living to bring happiness to the entire humanity, to animals, plants, birds, and all of Nature.

55 – Healing and Prayer

From Other Worlds, by Torkom Saraydarian, pp. 201-202.

Prayer results in the following changes in one's life...

... Prayer brings healing. Many scientists have documented miraculous cures which have occurred as a result of prayer. These cures were called "miraculous." They are actually not so. Prayer is a method of fusing yourself with a power station which raises your vibrations and creates harmony within yourself. When you create harmony in yourself, you are healed. Health is harmony. Health is a condition where there are no disturbances or distortions. When you are synthesized within yourself, you are healthy. That energy, which is sometimes called the psychic energy of God or of the Spirit, cleans and purifies all distorting factors that you have within yourself.

54 – Health of Mother and Baby

From Other Worlds, by Torkom Saraydarian, pp. 503-504.

A Great Sage states that a departing one is surrounded by many who welcome him, sometimes with his full consciousness. But an incarnating soul descends to earth in total psychological loneliness. Such a loneliness can be lightened by preparing the best atmosphere possible for the coming baby. The baby mostly senses the emanations of joy and beauty. Worries, anxieties, noise, fear, economic pressures, television, radio, newspapers, divorcing parents, all leave wounds in the soul of the coming child. The result is the kind of life we have in the modern world.

It is suggested that the mental, psychological, and physical health of the mother and baby will be in a much better condition if they are surrounded with beauty, joy, serenity, music, poetry, prayer, and meditation.

53 – Healing and the Three Bodies

From Other Worlds, by Torkom Saraydarian, p. 129.

Physical health is related to emotional and mental health. Any unhealthy condition in the physical plane eventually creates similar conditions in the emotional and mental bodies. Though the physical body dies, the astral and mental bodies may carry the sickness into the Subtle World, especially if the sickness of the astral and mental bodies is not exhausted through the physical illness.

The astral and mental man may suffer a sickness in the Subtle Planes until his astral or mental body is healed, vacated, or disintegrated in the corresponding planes.

52 – Psychic Energy and Creativity

From Other Worlds, by Torkom Saraydarian, p. 372.

Psychic energy is the creative fire, the fire that regenerates, heals, enlightens, purifies, unites, and synthesizes.

Any kind of labor done with an unselfish motive and using the heart for the purpose of advancement, enlightenment, and unity attracts psychic energy. The labor can be spiritual, mental, or physical. It can be by an individual or a group. All virtues generate, release, or attract psychic energy. Meditation, contemplation, and sacrificial service charge your aura and environment with psychic energy.

51 – Aspirations and Healing

From Other Worlds, by Torkom Saraydarian, p. 445.

In raising our aspiration through prayer, meditation, dedication, and sacrificial service, we not only increase our psychic energy but we also increase the crystals of psychic energy within our body. We are told that it is possible to direct these crystals toward certain organs and cure them.

Aspirations and elevation of the heart create a certain kind of heat in our system. It is this heat that makes the organs assimilate the crystals of psychic energy.

50 - Healing Through Striving

From Other Worlds, by Torkom Saraydarian, p. 442

Striving is also very healing for psychic illnesses, or illnesses that are related to our etheric, emotional, and mental bodies. Some people think that once the body is left behind, all psychological or emotional and mental illnesses are also left behind. This is not the case. We not only carry them with us, but we also bring them back and infect our new physical bodies.

Striving slowly cures the maladies of the subtle bodies because striving is the imposition of the rhythm of the soul upon the mechanism. This work takes time, but once the vehicles are tuned to the note of the human soul, healing progresses rapidly.

Striving toward perfection means the elimination of all those hindrances in your threefold vehicles which prevent their individual growth and their integration. (New Dimensions in Healing, p. 19.)

49 - MY REWARD

A Poem written by Torkom Saraydarian.
(The actual date of writing is not known)

Sometimes, my Lord,
when I do something good,
creative, and noble,
I hear a whisper
in my ear.
It says,

“Heaven will reward you.”

My Lord,
I try always to ignore
such a whisper,
and I want to reject
any reward
that the heavens may offer
to me.
