62 - Resurrection: The Great Call

Torkom wrote four volumes of books on the esoteric meaning of the Teachings of Christ, covering the subjects of birth, life, transformative power, and resurrection of Christ.

During the Month of April 2011, Torkom's blog articles (#62-71) will focus on the theme of Resurrection and Easter. We hope these articles inspire you to learn the deeper meanings of Easter and the process of Resurrection.

From Teachings of Christ, Vol 4, by Torkom Saraydarian, pp. 11-12.

...Resurrection is the answer to a great call. And what is that great call? The Great Soul of this planet, Who was called the Father by Jesus and by many, many Masters, is calling back His sons. He is calling us back like a man standing on the mountain top and calling his lost son to come back. His Voice is tracing the path. Now this is the path which leads to resurrection. Hearing, listening to the Voice, being able to listen to that Voice and answering that Voice is the technique, is the process of resurrection. As you listen, as you hear that Voice, step by step you orient yourself. You find the right path to climb this mountain, this gap, these precipices. You discover how to penetrate these forests. You learn where to go so that you reach the summit and find your Father.

Actually, the Resurrection Ceremony is meeting the Father, nothing else. Today the whole Christian world is celebrating Easter. Whether or not they are emphasizing the deeper meanings of this great festival or great day it doesn’t matter because everywhere they are emphasizing the spirit of resurrection, which means they are focusing the minds of humanity toward immortality, toward the reality that man can conquer death, toward the concept that eventually man is going to be his own master. This is the beauty of Easter. Whether they are revealing the deeper layers of the great mystery or not, it doesn’t matter as long as they are opening a great vision in the eyes of humanity. Easter teaches us that the matter, the limitations of the physical, emotional, and mental bodies are not lasting and eventually the spirit within the man is going to conquer, to break the chains and achieve mastery over his nature. Now this is the beauty of the Easter Festival.

  1. Thank you for this post. I recall last year, you posted the story of The Screaming Pine Nut (Post #12), which is as humorous as it is enlightening.
