Sometimes if one person forgets to say the Great Invocation, he will telepathically awaken and remember when the others start. It is enough if one of the participants is awake; eventually he will be able to call the others to their sacred duty.
After the first triangle is firmly established, you can start other triangles to be repeated at different times, proceeding in the same way. If any participant cannot continue in his task for any reason, then he must be kind enough to inform the other two so that they can choose another person for their triangle.
It is advisable not to have more than five triangles, because the most important ingredients in a triangle are enthusiasm, livingness, joy and vitality. It should not be turned into a mechanical action, but should be a task to which each participant looks forward.
You must remember that the power of the Invocation increases as you put real interest, attention, pure visualization and creative thinking into it. This means that your mind must concentrate upon the words you are saying. The words must be said slowly, with solemnity, and you must not waver over your problems, worries or plans as you repeat it. At the time you say the Great Invocation, you must raise your consciousness as high as possible, detaching your mind from personal problems and interests, focusing it on those great concepts and visions found in the Great Invocation.
In repeating the Great Invocation:
- First, visualize the other two triangle participants sitting in the room with you, sitting together in Nature, or in any pleasant setting.
- Then visualize a golden thread linking all three of you, thus forming a living, fiery triangle.
- Then focus your mind as high as possible, and solemnly begin to repeat the Great Invocation.
- Between stanzas, pause and visualize the triangle participants anew, before going on to the next stanza.
- After you have completed the Great Invocation, sit relaxed for moment, and then silently go about your work.
